Leo Nocentelli was the principal songwriter of The Meters, which is one of most important funk bands of all time. They defined New Orleans funk, recorded countless hits for themselves and others, became one of the most sampled bands ever and won a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.

Leo’s recording credits include Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Sting, Peter Gabriel, The Supremes, The Temptations, Robert Palmer, Jack Bruce, Dr. John, Robbie Robertson, George Duke, Mavis Staples, Etta James, Maceo Parker, Bobby Womack and countless others.

Bassist / Producer Billy Dickens is known for his jaw-dropping technique, his writing and production work with artists like Aretha Franklin and Bootsy Collins, his recording work with Aretha Franklin, Ramsey Lewis, George Michael & Mary J Blige, Janet Jackson, Jerry Harrison and his endless live credits include Stevie Wonder, Josef Zawinul, Ramsey Lewis, Al DiMeola, Freddie Hubbard, Pat Metheny, Chaka Khan, Grover Washington Jr., Sugar Blue and hundreds of others.
